And so did I continue what had begun,
To read, draw and colour, the learning was fun
A passion it is with me now that I see
Never a day does pass with out Thay and me!
His books are amazing awsome uber cool!
They tell you  about life in straight simple words like you learn at school
Breathing and Mindfulness they go hand  in hand
Living in the moment helps one understand.
Buddha gave us alot, through all his leanings
ThichNhat Hanh has it all in his writings and sharing
I have lived through The Path of Emancipation,
Buddha Body, Buddha Mind  was my next decision
Under the Banyan Tree was next
The Art of Power is profound, sweet and simple text
Have finished The Long road turns to joy .
Now am Digging into The Stone Boy
Next in Line is The Sun my Heart
Followed by Living Buddha Living Christ,

Will then move on to Interbeing

My wish list will be complete once I find

Miracles of Mindfulness.... to satiate my mind.

My reading spree

It all began with Old path White cloud
I read and could not put the book down
So well was it worded, I didnt miss a line
When I finished reading it I felt the divine!
A clown feels , together, Happy and sad .....
Happy to learn and sad to release
The book  I had carried for quite sometime
It  made me feel calm and gave me ease!

Fruits

Fruits I did paint....
Fruits now do I see
Coz now I do work for Fruit of the Loom
A very Good, The best Company!

Fruitful is life
With me you will agree
As you sow so you reap
Varying in degree.

Life is worthwhile
As fruits do the trick
They colour your life
A fruit diet will ne'r make you sick

So heres to the Fruits
That have happened in my life
Red Yellow Brown and Green
The sweet sour, raw and ripe!

Our Star now in Heaven

There’s one more star in heaven

Which shines her smile on earth
Its not been long since she's been there
And we here know her worth.

This star first shone amongst us
But we did not know her season
22 years was too short a stay
Only our Maker has his reason.

This star now shines in heaven,
For all the world to see
Before sheleft this earthly abode
She lived with you and me.
 
So many stars shinning up there
in the celestial glow
Those stars all dazzle us now
as we look up from below.
 
Stars bright shine your light
on those you love below
Flicker, sparkle shine real bright
Set the heavens aglow!

Parenting & Partnering

When you partner, do you parent
As you parent do your partner?
All parents want to be partners
in the unfolding lives of their offspring
Its not the mirroring of thoughts
as much as the action attached.
Parenting is fun if the partnering is present
Partnering is great as long as it has its limits
Parenting is Pain incarnate
To see the Partnering swept under  the carpet
Tears and agony are present
To know that Parenting was not all about partnering
Partnering with your child...
Through all the learning
Sharing in all the joy and pains of growing
Year by year to new grounds treading
guiding, flying smooth sailing.
But one fine day after the teen years are in
That is the time Partnering is out and Parenting is Apparent!

The need of a writer......

In the Words of, Leo Rosten ,

"A writer writes not because he is educated but because he is driven by the need to communicate. Behind the need to communicate is the need to share. Behind the need to share is the need to be understood. The writer wants to be understood much more than he wants to be respected or praised or even loved. And that perhaps, is what makes him different from others."

From here I take off:

The widening of the eyes
a flutter of the lashes
a blink of the eye
a twitch of the lips
a moue
a wrinkle on the brow
a lift of the corner of the lips
a movement of the eyebrow.....
all this and more

A way of living.......

This  came to me for a reason,
the first time I believe was many years ago
A marble statue
Which I did ignore
The next when I did Vipassana
Just to take a break
From this breakneck speed, world
Being an ascetic, I did not fake.
then a few years later
to be precise 2008
Mindfulness, unconditional love & forgivness,
was dished out on my plate.
I toyed with the idea to follow the path
but since then and now
many dreams crossed my heart
This mindful way of life,
 today,is my firm belief
is the relationship I was looking for,
it gives my soul relief.
Years of hunting searching
will never get you anywhere
It will happen when its meant to
Yes I  now know I am there!
